A nominee is a person who will receive the benefits of your Samco account in case of your death or incapacity. Adding a nominee is a smart way to ensure that your investments are safe and secure.
Learn how to add a nominee with Samco website in a few simple steps.
- Go to the star.samco.in a website and log in with your Samco credentials.
- On the right-hand side, click on Profile and go to Account Settings.
- Under the Modification Request section, click on Modify Now.
- From the drop-down menu, click on option ‘G’ Nominee and then click on Submit.
- On the next page, check the box that says ‘Do you wish to add nominee’, and then click on Add Nominee.
- Enter the nominee details such as name, relationship, mobile number, email id, date of birth, and share percentage.
- On the next page, click on Sign your application with Aadhar. Enter your Aadhaar number in the box that appears and click on Submit.
- You will be directed to the eSign portal for Aadhaar sign up. Check the box that says ‘I have read the document and I accept the terms of service’ and click on Submit.
- Enter your Aadhaar details and check the box that says ‘I hereby authorise’. Then click on Send OTP.
- Enter the OTP that you receive on your registered mobile number and click on Verify OTP.
- Click on Download signed document and then click on Proceed.
You have successfully added a nominee to your Samco Account.
