Sales Performance

Hyundai Motor India reported total sales of 67,320 units in March 2025, reflecting a 2.6 per cent year-on-year increase. Domestic sales contributed 51,820 units, while exports stood at 15,500 units.

For the full financial year 2024-25 (FY25), Hyundai's total sales reached 7,62,052 units. Of this, 5,98,666 units were sold domestically, and 1,63,386 units were exported. Hyundai maintained its position as India's second-largest passenger vehicle manufacturer and continued as a key export hub for Hyundai Motor Company.

SUV Market Contribution

SUVs made up 68.5 per cent of Hyundai's domestic sales in FY25. The Hyundai CRETA remained a strong performer, with 52,898 units sold in Q4 FY25. Since its launch, the company surpassed cumulative SUV sales of 2.5 million units and 1.5 million CRETA units (including domestic and export sales).

In February 2025, Hyundai recorded a 3 per cent year-on-year decline in total sales, with 58,727 units dispatched compared to 60,501 units in February 2024. Domestic sales declined by 5 per cent to 47,727 units, whereas exports increased to 11,000 units from 10,300 units a year earlier.
